After resting in a hotel in Italy, walking the red carpet and watching the film with the audience, no wonder my excitement rose.
Rome Film Festival. Because such foreign media coverage was the first time for me, anything and everything felt fresh.
Simultaneously, if it were to be interpreted methodically, it felt like I was a light star(maybe he means ‘not a bright star’).
To be able to go abroad to show my work, was something I wished for that came true.
During break time, I got lost in my thoughts for a bit.
And surprisingly, I saw many from Italy who seemed to know me and were present by my side.
I was astonished.
From the reporter-san, I heard names like ‘Hanazakari no Kimitachi e’ and ‘Genji Monogatari’ coming out.
A female reporter explained, ‘When in life, there are sad times or difficult times, I watch your acting in Hanazakari and cheer up.’
A middle-aged reporter said, ‘My daughter is a big fan of yours!’
That reminded me of the middle-aged men at the bar in Shimanto who would together say, ‘See you!’.(laughs)
Afterwards, the talk from Mogura no Uta changed to Genji Monogatari, there were a lot of questions asked. (laughs)
I had to stimulate my hippocampal region desperately to recollect my memories. (laughs)
Somehow, it is a wonderful feeling. Isn’t this world surprising and small? is what I feel.
Well then, it’s about time. To go back.
Red carpet, bring it on! Admiration, criticism, bring it on! And, I just want to say this.
I want to eat white rice already!! ‘Seriously!!’
